Social Evenings - Saint Columba URC Liverpool saint columba urc liverpool urc logo

Here at Saint Columba URC Liverpool we have many social evenings throughout the year and now the emphasis is on fund raising to help fund the refurbishment work we will shortly be starting within the church.


We have already had some really well received evenings such as

 

A 'Ceilidh' in April that was attended by 70 people (the maximum we can accept for dancing), 

The Ceilidh was really good fun it is an evening all about dancing, singing and story telling and David and Isabella led the evening superbly well.

A good time was had by all and we were all left asking the date of the next one.
 

 

A Quiz Night with fish and chip supper was a great success in May. The quiz was hard but fair and it proved to be an exciting end to the evening with two teams tied on the same score and a sudden death question needed to settle the result!

Another very enjoyable night and everybody enjoyed their fish and chips!


in June we held a Plant sale and also our Church outing to Lancaster and a barge trip with a bite to eat.

 Saint Columba Strawberry Fair

 

July 6th we held a 'Strawberry Fair and Church Open Day'. This was a great success and it was so nice to see some of our young Pilots and their parents at the event. It was also nice to greet so many new visitors to the church.
