This gallery shows images from our Anniversary Lunch where we were privileged to enjoy the
company of a new friend to Saint Columba URC Liverpool the Revd. Dr. Bruce Theron all the way from
South Africa.

This gallery represents the images from our Easter and Lent period at Saint Columba URC
Liverpool. Our church was open every Wednesday morning during coffee pot for reflection and prayer
the images represent part of the weekly reflections.

Ceilidh March 2010
This is one of the social committee's first fundraising evenings for Saint Columba URC
Liverpool and it was really well attended and a fun evening was had by all.

Quiz Night and Fish and Chip Supper April 2010
In April we held a quiz night and we thought what could we incorporate into the evening to add a
little bit of an enjoyable twist? We decided to include a fish and chip supper which went down
really well!!

Tuesday Friendship Groups Cream Tea
Our Tuesday Friendship Group hosted a Cream Tea with entertainment just before their summer
break. This was a great afternoons entertainment one of many entertaining afternoon's with the
Friendship Group I'm sure!!

Strawberry Fayre
As part of our recent fundraising activities we held a Strawberry Fayre and Church Open Day on
the 17th July. We had various stalls set up in the Church Hall such as Cakes, Bric a
Brac, Knitted Goods, Toys and Cards & Books. In the church garden we had a secure play
area for our many young visitors with games laid out for them to play.

Pilots
Saint Columba URC Liverpool had prayed to get more young people involved in the church Alan
pondered long and hard about how to do it and then from nowhere a phone call from a trainee
minister looking for a placement changed everything!! A truly blessed moment and our Pilots
Group began to become a reality! Here are a few pictures of a typical Pilots evening.
