Lent and Easter 2010 - Saint columba URC Liverpool

During Lent we opened Saint Columba URC Liverpool every Wednesday morning where visitors where invited to spend
a quiet reflective time in the church.
Each week Alan created a new reflection based around the Lent theme. The first week our symbol was the 'cup of
sufferance' followed by the 30 pieces of silver, a crown of thorns, purple material denoting Jesus' robe, whip,
palm branches, nails.
The young people of the church planted their own garden of Gethsemane and on Easter Sunday we also were treated
to the sight of the cross covered in daffodils.
